Crispers encouraged its patrons that dined between September 18, 2011 and September 24, 2011 to help end this unimaginable situation by donating $1 or more to Dine Out No Kid Hungry at all 29 Crispers locations. In return, Crispers provided a $2 Coupon to everyone that donated. In total, Crispers was able to raise $8,941.39, which will be donated in April 2012.

World Famous Bun Me Sandwich

November 2, 2011 – Crispers Restaurants, the fast-casual restaurant chain based in Lakeland, Florida, announces the introduction of a new dinner offering at its’ 11019 Causeway Blvd., Brandon, Florida location to include the world famous Bun Me Sandwich. The Bun Me (pronounced bahn-mi) is a Vietnamese sandwich on a brioche roll, filled with roasted pork tenderloin, daikon slaw mix, cucumbers, cilantro, and chili garlic mayonnaise. The Bun Me sandwich is described as a “flavor explosion” upon first bite and is widely popular throughout the world. Crispers is the first fast-casual restaurant in Florida to offer the Bun Me Sandwich on it’s new dinner menu.

The Crispers location in Brandon will also feature a full-service dinner setting and menu to include new “Small Plates” with Baked Crab Artichoke Dip, Thai Chicken Skewers, Fireworks Shrimp Cocktail, Seared Ahi Tuna Sliders, Hummus with Grilled Naan Bread and Baked French Onion Soup, “Crisper Signatures” with the aforementioned Vietnamese Bun Me Roasted Pork Sandwich, Asian Foldovers, and the Paradise Beach Cobb Salad, “New Entrees” including Garlic Prawns, Vegetarian Lasagna, and Ying and Yang BBQ Pork Tenderloin, and an offering of “Grilled Sandwiches” which introduce a new Top Shelf Roast Beef, a Fresh Mozzarella, and a high-end Grilled Cheese with Pepper Bacon.
